What Youll Do: ⢠Collect, analyze, and interpret geological, hydrological, biological, and other environmental data to assess project site conditions ⢠Perform field investigations and research to determine project site suitability, including collecting samples and providing construction operation assistance and drilling oversight ⢠Participate in the development of reports, assessments, design concepts, and comparative cost analyses ⢠Support office-based tasks including data analysis, report writing, and preliminary permit and specification preparation ⢠Assist mid- and senior-level scientists and engineers on a variety of environmental project tasks, including providing technical assistance to project engineers on geologic, hydrologic, biologic, or other scientific factors affecting environmental outcomes ⢠Review and evaluate potential impacts of federal, state, and local environmental legislation. What You Bring: ⢠Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field required ⢠Minimum of 1 year of related experience required ⢠EPA-accredited asbestos building inspector certification required ⢠Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required; experience with ArcMap or basic GIS Mapping is a plus ⢠Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus ⢠Demonstrates a strong willingness to learn about the respective scientific discipline ⢠Strong teamwork, communication, and problemāsolving skills ⢠Demonstrated willingness to expand scientific knowledge and grow within the discipline ⢠Ability to conduct field work in various weather conditions and physically navigate diverse environments ⢠Valid driver's license required ⢠EPA-accredited asbestos project designer certification a plus ⢠EPA Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor a plus.
