    • Shift Time: Tuesday - Friday  -- 7:30 am to 5:00 pm

    Our purpose is to provide accurate testing results to allow medical professionals the data needed to care for their patients. This position is responsible for performing and interpreting clinical laboratory tests that require complete adherence to industry & equipment manufacturer guidelines. 

     

    OVERVIEW 

    • Performs all laboratory tests necessary for diagnosis and treatment of patients. 
    • Responsible for reporting results which are accurately substantiated by use of appropriate controls. 
    • Performs and demonstrates proficiency and understanding of routine procedures for all areas of the laboratory. 

     

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

    • High complexity testing 
    • Intermediate trouble shooting skills on trained testing platforms 
    • Basic computer skills and experience with computer programs such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) 
    • Ability to maintain records in accordance with procedure and regulations. 
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records as required by state and federal laws and regulations 
    • Scientific and technical knowledge from current sources, such as the AABB/FACT/NETCORD Standards and relevant guidelines related to FDA, CLIA, AND CMA, both state and federal 
    • Knowledge of state and federal laws, rules, and regulations and voluntary accrediting standards related to the operation of clinical laboratories and blood bank 
    • Knowledge of laboratory processes, inventory requirements, and quality systems 

     

    EDUCATION

    BA or BS in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution (Required) 

     

    CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE 
    No certifications required.
