p>• Prepare surfaces through line removal, grooving, and water blasting • Assist with rumble strip operations • Load, unload, and maintain equipment and materials • Travel to project sites and work in outdoor environments • Follow all safety, DOT, and company regulations • Perform pavement marking using paint, epoxy, MMA, tape, and thermoplastic • Operate and assist with striping and support equipment • Equipment Operation - Operating hand/power tools, manual dexterity to operate keyboards and smartphones, physical agility to use arms, legs, and hands repetitively • Working outdoors, working safely under adverse environmental and weather conditions, which include high-speed traffic areas, and heavy construction equipment • Working a flexible schedule which may include day or night shifts, and weekends, adjusting to a changing work schedule, working overtime, and working individually and as a team with other employees. • Repeated physical effort, including driving for several hours per day or several hours at a time, standing and walking for extended periods of time (more than several hours), loading and unloading equipment into and out of company vehicles, walking on varying ground surfaces, and frequently lifting a minimum of 50 pounds • Must be able to stand and sit for long periods of time • Vision adequate to see moving vehicles, read highway construction DOT signs, read instructions, manuals, reports, and construction plans • Hearing adequate to hear approaching vehicles, audible commands at a distance from supervisors, conversations in person, and over the telephone • Communicating clearly - both written and verbally, ability to complete daily paperwork as required by supervisor.
