Supervises administration of medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits programs for active and retired employees of Fulton County: processes and reviews benefits enrollment, termination, status changes, and updates; conducts staff meetings with benefits carriers; trains employees and staff on new benefit offerings; works with plan administrators, legal personnel and actuaries to ensure continued compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations regarding benefits; prepares enrollment communication; coordinates with health vendors to implement programs and services geared towards reducing health care costs; educates employees regarding wellness programs and prepares financial and analytical reports incentivizing employees to healthy behaviors. Processes a variety of documentation associated with department/division operations, within designated timeframes and per established procedures: receives and reviews various documentation, including quarterly utilization reports, monthly spreadsheets, and expense reports; reviews, completes, processes, forwards or retains as appropriate; prepares or completes various forms, reports, correspondence, and other documentation, including letters to vendors/employees, Quarterly KPI report, Annual Wellness Budget Reconciliation, and payroll activity reports; compiles data for further processing or for use in preparation of department reports; and maintains computerized and/or hardcopy records.
