The position must have a good understanding of North Carolina's licensure program, including, but not limited to, the residency program, national board certification process, alternative routes to licensure, education and/or testing requirements, the initial licensure program, graduate licensure policies and procedures, renewal requirements for both educators and administrators, accurate salary determination based on correct analysis of license, and required annual maintenance of licenses to ensure accuracy of experience credit.
