Contributes to relevant hospital or system-wide policies • Direct and mentor dietetic students, peers and support personnel • Participate as a member of interdisciplinary committees, responding to needs and initiatives for nutrition care process improvement and collaborate with inter-department managers to resolve issues and implement new procedures • Deliver and/or oversee quality nutrition care within established criteria • Maintains registration status through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensure through the PA Department of Nursing • Assure recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation and competency of personnel; maintain a quality workforce.
