p>Qualifications: Juris Doctorate required Active member in good standing with the Arkansas bar or willingness to obtain such standing Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Taxation or Accounting, strongly preferred Exceptional legal and tax research skills with the ability to synthesize complex regulatory information into actionable client advice Located or willing to relocate to Little Rock, Arkansas Demonstrated interest in transactional law, estate planning, business formation 3 to 5 years of experience working in a transactional law practice, including an emphasis on estate planning, forming and structuring LLCs, partnerships, corporations, and tiered organizational structures Additional experience desired in the areas of estate and business succession planning, mergers and acquisitions, income, estate and gift taxation, federal, state, and local tax, subchapters C and S, partnership taxation, and other complex business matters Excellent negotiation, contract drafting, and written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to proactively determine, prioritize and resolve issues. Conduct in-depth tax research to analyze complex federal, state, and local tax codes, IRS rulings, and regulations, and apply this research to support wealth preservation strategies, structure entity formations, and build strong positions for tax controversy representation.
