p>SUMMARY: The Application Engineer position is responsible for acting as the technical interface between the business units and engineering, generating new business opportunities through development of new products, supporting field issues, and driving resolutions, as well as coordinating engineering resources to support on-going activities.
Travel regularly to key end-user customers and OEMs to ensure successful product launches, support integration opportunities, and provide training when appropriate.
This position is designed to provide hands-on experience across multiple disciplines within the organization, helping develop a broad understanding of manufacturing, quality, operations, and applications engineering prior to transitioning into a full-time Applications Engineering role.
