Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The role involves architecting, building, testing, and maintaining full-stack applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused software solutions.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Full-Stack Engineer Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand business requirements, translating them into scalable and user-centric software solutions.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, and related technologies.

  • Build and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services while ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, and Designers throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile best practices to deliver high-quality software efficiently.

  • Optimize application performance, enhance security standards, and continuously evaluate emerging technologies to improve development processes and customer outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required; master's degree preferred.

  • 4+ years of professional experience developing web-based applications using Object-Oriented programming principles and Agile methodologies.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, REST APIs, Microservices, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD practices.

  • Proven experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying scalable full-stack applications in an Agile environment.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
