General Duties: This position provides assistance to the Director of Nursing and Allied Health including, but not limited to reviewing and analyzing admission requirements for upcoming nursing and allied health students; assisting with clinical requirements and placements for nursing and allied health students; scheduling and reviewing drug screens for nursing and allied health students; coordinating uniform fittings and purchasing for nursing and allied health students; reviewing and submitting new and existing clinical contracts; assisting allied health instructors with classroom teaching, skills lab simulations, and clinicals as needed; recruiting and maintaining advisory members for nursing and allied health programs; maintaining records for COE and Board of Nursing requirements, maintaining student records for nursing and allied health programs, assisting with transcript submissions and post graduate follow ups; proctoring examinations related to nursing and allied health; marketing and recruitment of potential nursing and allied health students for traditional and dual enrollment classes (including high school functions, job fairs, and community events); coordinating campus specific activities. · Must possess good oral and written communication skills; have the ability to deal pleasantly and tactfully with outside clinical organizations, contracted vendors, students, and instructors.
