Cost Accounting Manager Melaleuca IncCost Accounting ManagerIdaho Falls, IDLead and develop members of the Cost Accounting team • Oversee cost accounting processes across manufacturing, distribution, and logistics • Analyze trucking, warehousing, and freight expenses to improve cost visibility and control • Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams to evaluate and reduce costs • Determine and validate landed costs for raw materials and turnkey items • Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to production, logistics, and distribution • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and inventory optimization • Ensure accuracy and integrity of inventory valuation and reporting. Must be available for relocation to Idaho Falls, Idaho (corporate relocation assistance provided) Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in cost accounting Strong background in cost accounting within manufacturing environments Experience with logistics, distribution, trucking, or warehousing cost structures preferred Experience leading accounting teams of Two or more professionals Demonstrated success as a change agent Strong communication skills with the ability to influence a variety of audiences Experience working in a matrixed environment Ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables Familiarity with transactional and reporting systems.
