Primary Functions:The position of the Operations Coordinator will be a high energy, multi-responsibility position that will oversee the daily operations of the Workforce Development (WFD) area. Responsibilities includes implementing the WFD training programs, daily program delivery needs, instructor related needs, student support services, client/partner related needs, and interdepartmental coordination and communication. The position requires excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. Flexibility, creative problem solving, and independent decision making are also required. The position is primarily grant funded through the end of July of 2027. Major Responsibilities Include:Manages and prioritizes the daily WFD communications flow both internal and external (email, phone, other)Provides customer service for current and potential studentsResponsible for WFD course registration oversight, maintenance and enrollmentManages book inventory for programsOversight on mandatory healthcare clinical documentationWork with the Director of Workforce Development on:Program SchedulingProgram fairs, open houses, and recruitment fairsProgram EnrollmentProgram Completion and CertificatesEmployment follow-upsGeneral office responsibilities:ReceptionRecord keepingOffice organizationMaintains an office presence on the home campus siteOther duties as assigned by the DWFD Minimum Qualifications:Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma required, with 1-3 years of professional experience.Intermediate knowledge of: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAll required vaccines to work in a medical setting are current and up to dateA valid NYS license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications:An entrepreneurial mindsetA basic understanding of the medical industry Experience with traditional and digital marketing Job Specific Competencies:Ability to take directionAble to multi-taskHighly organizedPositive workplace attitudeExtremely high attention to detail, problem solver and able to take initiativeMaintains a high level of professionalism Interpersonal communications skills to work with both internal and external constituents, particularly prospective and current students, instructors, and clients/partnersAble to work in fast paced environment and meet specific deadlinesStudent-focused, customer service orientationSelf-motivated and self-directedKnowledge of data base systems – experience with a student information system preferredExcellent phone and writing skillsConflict Management skills Position Specifications and Working Conditions:Student Success:A commitment to enriching the lives of students by promoting a positive learning environment; enhancing the quality of the student experience; and philosophically supporting programs and policies that facilitate student success.
