JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President, Sales is responsible for leading and executing the company’s sales and business development strategy within an assigned business line or market segment. This role drives revenue growth, market expansion, customer development, and strategic partnerships across designated operational areas, which may include service, construction, industrial, engineering, or other specialized business sectors.
JOB LOCATION
Phoenix, AZ strongly preferred for in-office collaboration, alternatively remote within the US.
Responsibilities:
- Lead sales and business development initiatives aligned with company growth objectives within the assigned market, territory, or operational segment.
- Develop and expand relationships with new and existing customers to drive revenue growth and long-term customer partnerships.
- Partner with operational leadership to align sales strategies with operational capabilities, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic industry partnerships and customer relationships that support incremental growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to evaluate market trends, customer demands, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities.
- Lead or support contract negotiations in collaboration with legal and operational leadership as needed.
- Maintain accurate customer and pipeline activity within CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Support development of sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and strategic account planning.
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition or partnership opportunities through industry relationships and market knowledge where applicable.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, marketing, and leadership teams to support customer satisfaction and successful project or service delivery.
- Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and operational partnership.
- Embody and promote the CoolSys CARES culture (Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Empowerment, Safety).
- Perform other duties and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education / Training
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- MBA preferred.
Work Experience / Skills
- 7 -10 year's experience in Marketing and Sales leadership roles.
- Experience within service, construction, industrial, engineering, HVAC, refrigeration, facilities management, or related operational industries preferred.
