Start Date: October 20, 2026
Location: Tyler, Texas
Schedule: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 91-day assignment
Highlights:
- Level I Trauma ICU experience with 14-room, 16-bed unit
- Patient ratio of 1:2 across all shifts
- Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
- Float opportunities to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed
- Adult patient population in a dedicated trauma critical care environment
Requirements:
- Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with Level I Trauma ICU experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (PALS and TNCC preferred)
- Skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV placement and maintenance
- Experience with patient ratio of 1:2
- Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
- Geographic restriction: Candidates residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris counties are not eligible
