Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuro ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 91-day assignment. Patient ratio of 2:1. Weekend coverage required approximately half of the contract period.

Highlights:

• Specialized Neuro ICU environment with 16 beds and daily census of 14 patients
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system experience required
• Float opportunities to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract
• Orientation provided with onsite module completion

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact) required at time of submission
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Neuro ICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Proficiency in blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, CVA/acute stroke management, EVD, ICP monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and post-neurosurgery care
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
