Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Patient ratio 1:2. Float required to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed. Half of weekends required per contract.

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma facility with 16-bed Trauma ICU unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Epic charting system in use
• 91-day travel assignment with one pre-approved time off period
• Adult patient population in a specialized trauma critical care environment
• Orientation provided with onsite module completion

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: PALS, TNCC
• Experience with patient ratio of 1:2
• Level I or Level II Trauma experience preferred
• Skills required: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance
• Preferred skills: ICP monitoring, ventilator management, Level I Trauma experience
• Must complete core items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply to certain local counties
