Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:6. 36-bed medical/surgical telemetry unit. Float to units of equal acuity as needed. Weekend coverage required (approximately half of contract weekends).

• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic telemetry environment
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a medical/surgical telemetry setting
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Texas or Compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV access, central line care, wound care, and other critical telemetry skills
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Candidates residing in certain local counties are not eligible for this position
