Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical/Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 20, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Patient ratio 1:6. 36-bed unit with floating required to units of equal acuity. Weekend coverage required (approximately half of weekends per contract).

Highlights:

• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a 36-bed unit
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, blood product administration, central line management, and other critical MS/Tele skills
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
