Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry for a travel assignment in Tyler, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled telemetry nurse comfortable caring for cardiac patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Unit Details – 5 North
5 North is a 36-private-room unit serving patients ranging from young adults through geriatric patients.
Priority admissions include patients requiring a medical level of cardiac care and those recovering from cardiac interventions, including:
- Cardiac surgery
- Coronary artery stent placement
- Pacemaker implantation
- Hemodynamically stable, non-procedural cardiac conditions
The typical patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5–6.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
- Telemetry experience
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
