Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in MedSurg/Tel to provide high-quality patient care. This position requires a commitment to maintaining safety, efficiency, and effectiveness in a fast-paced medical environment.

Shift Information

This is a night shift position from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Location

This role is located in Rapides, LA.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and health management strategies.
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a MedSurg or Telemetry setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
