Unit Information
- Unit Name: 4 South
- Number of Beds: 36
- Patient Ratios: 1:6
- Unit Staffing Description: Two unit secretaries available daily from 0600-2200, with patient care techs present at all times.
- Type of Equipment: Telemetry monitors, Dynamaps, glucometers, iMobile phones, bladder scanner.
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Scheduling Requirements: 12-hour shifts (7 PM-7 AM), every other weekend, holidays required.
- Floating Policy: All nurses may float to other units as needed.
- Patient Experience Requirements: Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, My Care Boards, and AIDET.

Qualifications
- Requested Skill Set: Strong nursing background, thorough assessment skills, attention to detail, and ability to recognize condition changes.

- Desire for excellence and accountability, ability to multitask, and handle stressful situations.
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Meditech Experience: Required
- Advanced Skills: Telemetry rhythm interpretation
- Procedures Performed: PICC line removal, vascular catheter/temp catheter removal
