Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position at a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Medical/Surgical unit caring for urology, gyn, ortho, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular patients
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Deferred schedule type
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling generally not approved

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Med/Surg specialty required
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases
• Certification card required for consideration
• Nursys license verification required for consideration
• Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to patients in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• No RTO permitted during contract
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel rate
