    Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Pediatric Home Health

    Location: Houston, TX 77036 (home health, covering Sienna, Fresno, Arcola, Rosharon, Sugar Land and Missouri City)
    Start Date: 12/21/2026 (confirm: description says 12/20)
    Duration: 12 weeks

    Schedule: Days, 5 x 8-hour shifts, flexible within 7:00 AM-7:00 PM (for example 7:00-15:30 or 10:30-19:00)

    About the Role
    We are seeking a Travel SLP for a pediatric home health assignment in the Houston area. You'll average about 7 patients per day, with 25-26 visits per week. Caseload includes pediatric articulation, language, autism, AAC and feeding/swallowing. First-time travelers and local candidates are welcome to apply.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive speech therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine therapy needs
    • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders
    • Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients' caregivers
    • Collaborate and coordinate care with other providers and disciplines
    • Meet the weekly minimum visit requirement set by the agency
    • Complete chart updates, progress summaries, call logs and other paperwork by deadline
    • Meet with agency personnel as needed to maintain quality-of-care standards
    • Follow agency policies and all applicable federal, state and local regulations and codes of ethics for home health pediatric speech-language pathology

    Requirements

    • Active Texas SLP license, in hand at submission (pending licenses not accepted)
    • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
    • No minimum years of experience required
    • CPR certification preferred, not required
    • Experience with pediatric home health preferred

    • Charting: Statewise EMR
    • Dress code: scrubs, or a t-shirt with jeans or pants, and closed-toe shoes
    • Mileage reimbursed
    • Paid orientation and paid compliance modules
    • Overtime after 40 hours per week at 1.5x
