Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool role requiring an active KY or compact RN license and BLS certification, open to first-time travelers.

Details

• Hospital-based Tele Float pool position caring for Med/Surg and Telemetry patient populations
• Floats between hospital units based on census and need
• Evening shift schedule of 3x12-hour shifts, 7PM-7AM, 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and nursing rounds for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities along with patient and family education
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team members and delegate tasks appropriately
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
