Description

American Traveler is hiring a RN - Med/Surg Tele for a float pool position caring for medsurg and telemetry patients across hospital units.

Details

• Float pool RN caring for patient populations including Med/Surg and Telemetry
• Floats between hospital units based on census and need
• Evening shift, 3x12s, 7AM-7PM
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact)
• BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred
• Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety devices

Additional Information

• Provides comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, and treatment implementation across the nursing process
• Coordinates admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient/family education
• Delegates and oversees tasks performed by other care team members
• Participates in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Collaborates closely with case management and the interdisciplinary care team
