Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring at least 1 year of RN experience and ACLS/BLS certification.

Details

• Central Resource Pool covering Med Surg/Telemetry units in an acute care hospital setting
• Straight night shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
• 12-hour shifts totaling 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BSN not required for this position

Additional Information

• Provides individualized nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborates with physicians and interprofessional colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Responsible for patient assessment, education, triage, and care coordination across the continuum of care
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Badge in and out at facility required for all clinicians
• Local candidates considered within an 80-mile radius
• Candidates with prior Sanford Health employment must have an end date at least 6 months before submission
