Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position on night shifts, requiring BLS, ACLS, and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Central Resource Pool covering Med Surg/Tele units in an acute care hospital setting
• 3x12-hour night shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active SD or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• BSN not required

Additional Information

• Provide individualized nursing care using the full nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Collaborate with physicians and other inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate patient care
• Care for patients across all phases of care including preventative care, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Badge in and out required at the facility
• Local candidates accepted within an 80-mile radius at an adjusted bill rate
• Candidates who previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
