RN - Cath Lab | Location: Barrington, IL

Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a combined Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology department. The ideal candidate will have experience in these units, with a preference for interventional radiology expertise. This role involves working with invasive cardiology and structural heart procedures.

Assignment Details

  • Shift Details: 5x8 Days
  • Call Schedule: Nurse - 1 week every 3 weeks; 5:30 pm - 7:30 am weekdays and 24/7 weekends
  • Holiday Expectations: Just call
  • Charting System: EPIC, MERGE
  • Floating: Between Cath Lab and IR per skillset
  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3750 (negotiable)

Responsibilities

  • Record and circulate procedures
  • Administer moderate sedation (Fentanyl and Versed)
  • Experience with invasive cardiology, structural heart program, AAA repairs, TAVRs, ablations

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2 years of Cath Lab experience
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Experience in recording and circulating procedures

Preferred:

  • Interventional Radiology experience
  • Experience with non-invasive and invasive IR procedures like biopsies and peripheral interventions
