Job Details

  • Position Description: G Shep Interventional Platform. The facility has 176 beds, including a Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 2 NICU, with Magnet designation.
  • Experience: 2 years of Cath Lab experience; IR experience preferred.
  • Certifications: RN - ACLS, BLS; IR Techs - BLS, ARRT-R, ACLS (preferred); Invasive Cardiac Tech BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R.
  • Skills: RN must record and circulate procedures, handle moderate sedation, and have experience with specified patient types. Techs need 2 years experience in cath lab or IR, with skills in scrubbing and recording.
  • Charting System/Equipment: EPIC, MERGE charting system.
  • Floating: Between cath lab and IR per skillset.
  • Orientation: 1-3 days on the unit.
  • Scheduling: Day shifts, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week. Weekend rotation included.
  • Call Schedule: Nurse 1 week every 3 weeks; RT 1 week every 3 or 4 weeks, depending on role.
