Overview
Registered Nurse – Geriatric travel assignment in North Carolina starting 10/10/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $1,715 to $1,777. Shift is 8-hour nights (11:00 PM–7:00 AM) in a long-term care nursing home setting. This is a travel, temporary assignment with no guaranteed hours. Orientation is provided on the first shift to acclimate to facility processes and team. Active North Carolina RN license, plus 12 months of recent RN experience, are required to be considered.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, compassionate nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects
- Conduct ongoing resident assessments, document findings, and contribute to care plan updates
- Assist with activities of daily living and support resident safety and comfort
- Communicate changes and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and social services
- Maintain accurate charting, adhere to infection control practices, and follow facility policies
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license
- 12 months of recent RN experience (geriatric or long-term care setting preferred)
- Ability to work 8-hour night shifts (11 PM–7 AM)
- Ability to perform duties in a geriatric long-term care environment
- Credentials due by 10/10/2026 (or ASAP)
