Job Details

• Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
• Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; on-call coverage required
• Orientation: Weekly orientation available on Mondays, barring holidays
• Hours: 40 hours per week; guaranteed 72 hours biweekly
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,710–$2,920
• Location: Boston, MA 02215

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology or interventional radiology experience preferred
• Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
• Current Massachusetts radiology license required
• Current ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with neuro or CT procedures in addition to IR required
• GE/Siemens equipment knowledge preferred
• Scrub and circulator experience required
• Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge preferred
• Experience with angiography procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume hospital setting
• Prepare patients and equipment for vascular and image-guided procedures
• Scrub and circulate during procedures as needed
• Support neuro and CT-related interventional workflows
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure smooth procedural flow
• Maintain a high standard of patient safety, professionalism, and procedural accuracy
• Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as scheduled
