Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General position in a healthcare setting. The role involves performing various ultrasound procedures across inpatient and outpatient departments, with proficiency in general ultrasound, small parts, vascular, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics. The candidate will be required to float between multiple sites and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour days/nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification, AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), and valid driver's licenses with matching addresses. Prior experience of at least 3 years in specialty, with current skills checklist and references from recent supervisors or managers.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient and outpatient ultrasound experience in radiology, proficiency with general ultrasound, small parts, vascular, obstetrics and gynecology (including fetal surveys and trimester scans), and pediatrics (hips, spine, head, pylorus, intussusception). Experience with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.
  • Additional Information: Candidate must be agreeable to floating among multiple sites including Everett, Cambridge, and Somerville. Seasonal flu vaccination is required during the season. RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included at submission.
  • Submission Requirements: Up-to-date resume with 3+ years of relevant experience, two recent manager or supervisor references, skills checklist matching specialty, and drivers license with appropriate address.
