Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurse position located in a short-term acute care facility. This role involves managing and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, providing adult and geriatric patient care, and working within an interdisciplinary team. The position requires a focus on cardiac telemetry and related clinical procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission); at least 1 year of clinical experience; critical care or tele experience; certifications including ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; experience with cardiac telemetry, managing cardiac and vasoactive drips, chest tubes, and other cardiac-related procedures.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, community hospital experience, experience with Epic charting system, and familiarity with interdisciplinary support teams.
  • Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be flexible to work every other weekend and commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). All specific scheduling and RTO requests must be submitted upfront during application. Candidates are expected to have at least one year of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on cardiac care.
