Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a short-term acute care facility. The role involves managing adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and other complex conditions, with a focus on titrating and managing cardiac and vasoactive drips. The position includes working in a fast-paced environment requiring clinical expertise in telemetry and emergency procedures.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 10/05/2026 and ending 01/04/2027.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license accepted), at least 1 year of clinical experience in an acute care or PCU setting, current certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), and experience with cardiac telemetry and managing cardiac and vasoactive drips.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, ICU or stepdown experience, and familiarity with Epic electronic charting system.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: Candidates must be able to manage and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, work every other weekend, and commit to working three of the five specified holidays. Candidates are also required to respond to specific scheduling and RTO requests at the time of submission.
