Job Details
- Position: Pharmacy Technician
- Location: Austin, TX
- Start Date: 10/26/2026
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Variable shifts
- Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts; availability required between 06:00 AM–09:00 PM
- Day/Evening: 40 hours/week, 5×8-hour shifts
- Overnight: 7 days on / 7 days off, 10-hour shifts
- Call: No call required
- Experience: 1+ year hospital pharmacy experience required
- Department: Pharmacy, Department 712
- Facility Size: 450 beds
- EMR: Meditech
- Staffing: Approx. 60 staff
- Dress Code: Khaki top and black pants for Pharmacy Technicians
- Hospital pharmacy experience — Required
- IV room certification/experience — Required
- Sterile compounding experience — Required
- Aseptic technique experience — Required
- Sterile compounding certification — Preferred
- Must be available for the required variable schedule
- Must be able to work in the sterile compounding space
