Travel Pharmacy Tech - $1,249 per week in Austin, TX

Shift: 07:30am-04:30pm Description: Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician work involves inventory management, preparing medications for a pharmacist final check, delivering medications to patient areas, conducting medication area inspections, providing technical assistance, and performing clerical duties. Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Experience in Pyxis Med Station System preferred.

Shift: 07:30am-04:30pm Description: Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician work involves inventory management, preparing medications for a pharmacist final check, delivering medications to patient areas, conducting medication area inspections, providing technical assistance, and performing clerical duties. Provides guidance to others as needed. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment within the boundaries allowed by the State Board of Pharmacy. Responsible for adhering to standards of professional, legal, and ethical practice and all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and/or guidelines of the hospital, client. Requirements: Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work. Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Experience in Pyxis Med Station System preferred. Experience with medication room inspections preferred. Experience with manual and automated medication repackaging preferred. Will abide with agency leave policy, abide with rules, regulations and policies of clinet and Facility and performs other duties as assigned.
