Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmacy services on the night shift within a high-volume hospital pharmacy department
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across all shifts?
- Utilize the Meditech EMR system to manage and verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Support patient care across a 450-bed facility, adapting to varying patient ratios based on shift demands
- Ensure compliance with hospital pharmacy policies, guidelines, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license valid in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience
- Proficiency with hospital pharmacy operations and workflows
- Ability to work independently on the night shift with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Sterile compounding certification
- Prior experience with the Meditech EMR system
- Travel pharmacy or multi-site hospital experience
