This role involves providing specialized nursing care to pediatric patients across various levels of care in a children's hospital setting. The Pediatric Float Nurse will support multiple units within the pediatric facility, ensuring quality care during night shifts in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Pediatric Acute Care (Float) Nurse working within a Clinical Resource Team (Float Pool) for a 13-week assignment starting from 12/15/2026 through 03/20/2027.
• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Colorado, BSN degree, minimum of 3 years of Pediatric Acute Care experience, valid BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Float Requirements: Float to various pediatric care units including surgical, medical, pulmonary, psychiatric, NICU, and more.
• Additional Information: Experience with varied patient populations, including mental health and ventilated patients, is preferred. Prior experience in a children's hospital setting or with a float team is advantageous. Medical and religious exemption requests from influenza vaccination are accepted if documented appropriately.
