Job Summary
Pediatric Medical Floor RN (Registered Nurse) This position is based at a pediatric healthcare facility. The role involves providing specialized medical and surgical nursing care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Details

  • Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Education and experience requirements: Minimum of 2 years Pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility, with at least 2 years of specialty experience in areas such as Trach/Vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, Chest tubes, JP drains, Central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, Colostomy, Ileostomy, Cecostomy, Nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients (liver/kidney), Trauma and rehabilitation patients.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional responsibilities include participation in modified self-scheduling, working 10 weekend shifts per 8-week scheduling block (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and working holidays as needed for scheduling.
  • Assignment Dates: November 3, 2026, to February 6, 2027.
  • Candidate must be available to work 2 of the 3 specified holidays and be flexible with scheduling.
  • Submission requirements: Candidates must meet all minimum qualifications and be prepared to comply with site-specific policies, including seasonal influenza vaccination.
