Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU position requiring PCICU experience and PALS certification.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU with a 12-bed overflow unit
• Patient population includes congenital heart disease/defects, post-surgical repair, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, and VAD patients
• Age range spans neonatal through young adult, with occasional adult CHD patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 for ICU status and 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU overflow patients
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), PALS, and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU experience required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
