• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,110 - $2,220
• Unit Type: PCU/Stepdown with cardiac monitoring and telemetry support
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Charting System: Epic
• Orientation: 12 hours
• Float Expectation: May float to Telemetry or Med-Surg floors if overstaffed

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Current Registered Nurse license in hand; compact license required at submission when applicable
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• Strong experience titrating and managing cardiac and vasoactive drips required
• Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and stepdown/PCU patients
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5
• Comfortable floating to related units when needed
• Two professional references covering the last year of experience

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU and stepdown patients with cardiac and medical-surgical needs
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Titrate and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips according to unit standards
• Assess patients with conditions such as CHF, Afib RVR, chest pain, post-cardiac cath, and post-MI care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, coordinated patient care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain compliance with unit procedures
• Float to Telemetry or Med-Surg floors as needed based on staffing needs
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting
