Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele, telemetry nursing, or progressive care experience
• Ability to successfully pass telemetry testing
• Experience monitoring telemetry patients and responding to cardiac rhythm changes
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a rotating schedule
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing education required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to post-surgical, medical-surgical, and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform skilled nursing interventions
• Support patients with wound care, drains, oxygen therapy, and insulin protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response support
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure safe, timely communication across the care team
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs in a progressive care environment
• Float within the unit or related areas as assigned
