Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
• At least 1 year of PCU experience required
• Current and consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• NIHSS preferred
• Experience with Epic required
• Strong telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response support skills
• Experience with blood product administration, central line care, IV therapy, and phlebotomy preferred
• Travel nursing experience required
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with acute leukemia and hematology-related diagnoses
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias to support timely clinical decision-making
• Administer IV therapies, blood products, antibiotics, and electrolyte replacements safely and efficiently
• Manage central lines, peripheral lines, PICC lines, and IV access as needed
• Support infection prevention and patient fall prevention initiatives
• Collaborate with rapid response teams and interdisciplinary partners to promote positive patient outcomes
• Float to other MedSurg Oncology units when assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver care in accordance with unit protocols and best practices
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on safety, professionalism, and patient-centered care
