Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele, telemetry, or related acute care nursing experience
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Active compact or state RN license in hand at the time of submission
• BLS required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS required for compliance
• Epic charting experience required
• Ability to float to different units and adapt quickly to changing patient needs
• Graduation from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Availability to work some weekends and holidays
• 2 professional references, including at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Tele setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other ordered treatments
• Support wound care, oxygen therapy, line management, and isolation precautions
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote coordinated patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
• Adapt to float assignments while maintaining a calm, professional bedside presence
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through strong communication and teamwork
