Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU RN, stepdown, or similar acute-care registered nurse experience required
• Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be comfortable working night shift and functioning in a charge-capable role
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP management required
• Comfort with medication titrations and telemetry monitoring required
• Must be willing to float within the organization as needed
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program preferred
• Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult patients with mixed-acuity needs
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP therapy, oxygen delivery, and respiratory support needs
• Assist with medication titrations, including cardiac drips as appropriate
• Support patients with complex medical diagnoses and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Perform wound care, feeding tube management, chest tube care, and other unit-specific interventions as needed
• Serve as a dependable resource on night shift and contribute to a strong, efficient team environment
• Float to other units within the organization when required
