Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

PCU RN Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PCU nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations preferred
• Experience with telemetry, step-down nursing, and progressive care workflows preferred
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Teaching hospital or academic medical center experience preferred
• Comfort working with EPIC and Pyxis preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with mixed-acuity surgical needs
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial procedures
• Perform and assist with specialty interventions such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Manage IVs, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, and blood product administration
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond to telemetry changes appropriately
• Support respiratory needs including oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management
• Administer medications safely and follow protocols for insulin, heparin, and other complex therapies
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC and support medication management through Pyxis
