Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• BLS and ACLS required
• Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• Experience with PCU, DOU, IMC, or Stepdown patient care preferred
• Comfortable caring for mixed-acuity adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage telemetry patients
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one manager, director, supervisor, or other formal leader

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with chronic medical conditions
• Monitor and manage progressive care patients with a focus on safety and clinical stability
• Interpret dysrhythmias and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer oxygen therapy, manage nasal cannulas, and support respiratory needs
• Perform peripheral line care and maintenance
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams when clinically indicated
• Work closely with interdisciplinary support teams to provide coordinated patient care
• Float to other units within the organization as needed
• Maintain professionalism and flexibility in a self-scheduled, fast-paced travel nursing assignment
