• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts per week

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
• Float: May float to other areas when needed
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience
• Ability to pass a telemetry test
• Experience monitoring telemetry patients preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Strong clinical skills in PCU, step-down, telemetry, or progressive care nursing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical progressive care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for post-surgical and progressive care patients
• Monitor telemetry and recognize changes in patient condition quickly
• Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to unit protocols
• Support patients recovering from bariatric, colorectal, and other general surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation and use Epic for charting and communication
• Respond appropriately to patient needs, including escalation to rapid response when needed
• Float to other areas as assigned based on unit needs
