Job Requirements

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of progressive care, telemetry, or related acute care RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience required
• Strong IV start, telemetry, and acute care nursing skills
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients preferred
• Comfortable floating to other hospital units as needed
• First-time travel nurses welcome

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to PCU and step-down patients
• Monitor telemetry, interpret rhythms, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Manage IV therapy, central lines, arterial lines, and other advanced nursing care needs
• Support patients receiving oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
• Administer and monitor blood products, insulin protocols, and selected drips per unit guidelines
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, PT, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Provide wound care, tracheostomy care, and pre/post-procedure nursing support as needed
• Document thoroughly in Epic and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team
