  • Schedule: 3x12 nights with weekend coverage; floating may be required based on unit needs

  • Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of registered nursing experience required
  • Charge nurse experience required
  • Previous cardiac step-down or progressive care experience preferred
  • Experience managing patient ratios of approximately 1:4-6
  • Current RN license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Prior Epic charting experience required
  • Must have U.S. nursing experience
  • Strong skills in cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and isolation precautions/PPE

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality PCU nursing care for step-down patients across varying clinical settings
  • Assess, monitor, and respond to changes in patient condition with confidence and urgency
  • Interpret telemetry and manage dysrhythmias to support safe patient outcomes
  • Deliver care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including med-surg, telemetry, and ER boarded patients
  • Float between units as needed to support staffing demands and patient care needs
  • Serve in charge-related responsibilities when assigned, including staffing coordination and bed flow support
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote efficient, compassionate care
  • Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic
